Tell us about yourself – what do you like to do? Where do you live? What’s your career path been?
I enjoy cooking, entertaining, spending time with my family whenever I have the time. I currently live in South Florida. I have been involved in real estate for close to 15 years.
What brought you to the corporate housing space?
A friend of mine worked in corporate housing in 2006, she recruited me. Once I was in the industry I knew it was a great fit, I couldn't imagine being anywhere else. It tied into the real estate industry, but with a hospitality twist which I was really excited by. Moving into the corporate housing industry allowed me to combine my passion for people, places, real estate and hospitality.
How have you seen corporate housing change in your career and how do you see it changing in the future?
Corporate housing demand has grown significantly, the market has expanded past the traditional need for furnished apartments. We are now seeing an increased demand for privately owned housing, vacation rentals, corporate apartments, hotels, due to the growing demand for furnished living spaces. Technology has and continues to play a huge role over the last 5-7 years, because it has allowed us to increase efficiency, while still providing a much needed human interaction. Something that I pride myself on is the level of customer service, and what doing the right thing for our clients and customers looks like.
Tell us what corporate housing means to you and the impact you see it have on the economy, people and places?
Corporate housing is my professional home, I find comfort in helping people, and to be a part of their adventures personally and professionally. The impact that corporate housing has on communities is so important, and plays a big role both directly and indirectly. I see benefits to everyone involved, while providing an inclusive experience, from property owners to the travel industry. Something I really enjoy is seeing employers' satisfaction, because their employees can be more engaged, focused and involved with their work life since they are not spending hours searching for somewhere to live, or finding options.
What is one fun fact about yourself?
